How much of the training and assessment costs do non-levy employers pay?

If you are an employer who doesn't pay the apprenticeship levy (i.e. you have a pay bill less of than £3 million each year, you will pay your training provider up to 5% of the cost of training and assessing your apprentice. The Government will pay the rest (95%) up to the funding band maximum - the maximum funding is given for every standard currently available for delivery on the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Education's site.

The Government will pay the funds directly to the training provider.
