About UCAS

Who are UCAS? How can they help you as a careers leader or employer?

UCAS is working with employers to ensure that they are able to:

  • have their apprenticeship or graduate job roles seen, and their story told.
  • access a broad talent pool of engaged high quality candidates from all backgrounds.
  • promote apprenticeships and early careers side-by-side with university/college.
  • connect with future talent at the right time on the right channels, throughout their decision-making journey.

Project Next Generation:

UCAS is carrying out an in-depth study of 13 – 17-year-olds which delves into how young people shape their futures, from subject choices to career paths. This research aims to empower universities, colleges, and employers with the insights they need to deliver support and inspire young decision-makers across the UK. These reports spotlight six key themes: happiness, empowerment, inspiration, confidence, experience, and control. Project Next Generation | UCAS

Support for young people:

Young people can also set up Smart Alerts, an email service that can match them with live apprenticeship vacancies. With over 300,000 apprenticeships starting every year, breaking down the noise with tailored opportunities could be the key to discovering their future role: Smart Alerts for Apprenticeships | UCAS
